Plans for thousands of homes on display in Wiltshire
Plans for thousands of new homes in Wiltshire are to go on public display.
The Wiltshire Core Strategy plans will be on display in Methuen Hall in Corsham later, before being exhibited in various towns around the county over the next two weeks.
The documents lay out plans for 37,000 new homes in the county by 2026.
More than half of the houses have already been built or given planning permission.
The exhibition will enable the public to have their say on what they think of the future plans for their area.
Alistair Cunningham, director of economy and enterprise at Wiltshire Council, said: "There are a lot of questions in terms of the larger towns, like have we got the housing in the right place and is it the right amount of housing?
"And are there things in terms of the smaller towns that we've not picked up on?"
The Wiltshire Core Strategy plans will be on display in Corsham until 8pm.
Full details of where the plans will be exhibited around the county over the next two weeks can be found at the Wiltshire Council website.
