Man arrested following sexual assault in Swindon
A man has been arrested on suspicion of rape after a teenage girl was attacked in Swindon.
The incident happened at about 0600 BST on Sunday as the 17-year-old girl walked near a subway in Drakes Way.
Det Sgt Don Pocock said: "I can confirm a 21-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of rape and remains in custody at this time."
Two potential witnesses who were in the area at the time are being sought, police said.
They are a woman, who was wearing a nurse's uniform and driving a silver or blue Citroen Picasso, and a male cyclist who was riding up the subway slip road towards the Greenbridge area.
