Six arrested after teenagers robbed at school party

Six teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of robbing youngsters at an unofficial party at a Wiltshire school.

Police said about 40 teenagers were in a field at Ridgeway School in Wroughton, near Swindon, without permission early on Saturday.

They were approached by a group of males who threatened them and demanded phones and cash.

Four teenagers aged 15 to 18 are to be questioned. Two others have been bailed.

A force spokesman said: 'We believe that there may have been other victims who have not yet come forward and I'd like to appeal for them to contact me.

"We have also been made aware of a possible assault at the same time of the robberies, however the victim has not yet reported the offence."
