Swindon Borough Council has passed a proposal to allow traders to operate in the town for a maximum of 100 days a year.

The plan was put forward by town centre managers InSwindon.

InSwindon chief executive Simon Jackson said: "We will always seek to put on various different activities which will increase footfall and help the economy of Swindon."
