Twelve arrested at Swindon Town FC and Oxford United game

Twelve people have been arrested at a derby match between Swindon Town FC and Oxford United.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said the arrests related to low level public disorder and drunkenness.

The match at the County Ground in Swindon was moved from Saturday afternoon to Sunday to prevent drink-fuelled trouble, police said.

Wiltshire Police and Thames Valley police shared intelligence during the operation. Swindon lost 1-2 to Oxford.
