Cyclist killed in two-car crash near Melksham

A cyclist has been killed in an accident involving two cars in Wiltshire.

Wiltshire Police said the 29-year-old man, from Melksham, had been heading towards the town on the A3102 at Sandridge at about 20:20 BST on Friday.

He was involved in a collision with a Renault Megane and a Volkswagen Polo which were also travelling towards Melksham.

The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The two drivers were unhurt.

The road was closed for six hours. Police are appealing for witnesses.
