Salisbury man charged over 2001 footpath attack

A man has been charged after an attack on a teenager on a footpath in Wiltshire in 2001.

Keith Henderson, 57, of Cooks Close, Salisbury, has been charged with indecent assault, false imprisonment and possessing a firearm, police said.

He is accused of assaulting a 16-year-old girl who was walking with her boyfriend on Town Path in the city in October 2001.

Mr Henderson was bailed to appear at the city's crown court on 14 October.
