Elderly driver killed in crash in Wiltshire

An elderly man has been killed in a crash in Wiltshire.

The collision, involving an Audi and a Peugeot, happened on the A338 at Nunton Bridge, south of Salisbury, at about 1735 BST on Monday.

The driver of the Peugeot, an 87-year-old man from Hampshire, died in hospital.

The Audi driver, a 31-year-old from Salisbury, was treated for minor injuries at Salisbury District Hospital before being released.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
