Body found in Chippenham car park is woman in her 40s

Tests carried out on a body discovered under burning rubbish in a car park in Wiltshire reveal she was a woman in her 40s.

The remains were found by a police dog handler on patrol at the Sainsbury's store in Bath Road, Chippenham, at about 03:00 BST on Tuesday.

Det Ch Insp Mark Power said: "We believe we know who she is and are currently tracing her next of kin."

A CCTV image has been released of a man police hope can help with the inquiry.

The image shows the man with a bicycle walking through the car park at 01:54 BST.
