Police are looking for a driver involved in a fatal car crash in Wiltshire on Christmas Day.

Nerijus Partikas, who lived in Melksham, died after the car he was travelling in crashed into a wall in the town at about 03:30 GMT.

The driver, Rebaz Hussain, 27, and his four passengers were taken to hospital.

Police said they had been unable to make contact with Mr Hussain since he was discharged from hospital and were "extremely keen" to speak to him.

Mr Hussain, originally from Iraq, has lived at a number of addresses in Chippenham and Melksham over the past two years, police said.

He is also known to have worked at a fast food outlet in Melksham as well as hand car washes in both towns.

'Not been seen'

Sgt Barrie Card, from Wiltshire Police Serious Collision Investigation Team, (SCIT), said: "We have visited all the known addresses and locations but friends and colleagues say he has not been seen since Christmas Day.

"We are now appealing for anyone who knows of his whereabouts, or who may be in contact with him, to get in touch with us.

"And anyone who saw the blue Audi A6, registration number FV02 UGU, and the five occupants in Chippenham town centre at around 3am on Christmas Day, or who then saw the car travelling from Chippenham to Melksham, is also asked to make contact."

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Mr Hussain is asked to contact Wiltshire Police.
