A charity that supports Wiltshire servicemen who have post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) has been given £30,000 of funding.

The money will be used by Worldwide Volunteering to fund a project manager at Tedworth House in Tidworth.

The organisation helps wounded, injured and sick service personnel, veterans and their families, who are going through post trauma recovery.

The cash has come from the Armed Forces Community Covenant grant scheme.

A sum of £10,000 has also been given to the Wiltshire Barn Project, which uses the "therapeutic qualities" of bookbinding to help veterans and to develop employment opportunities.

Money was also given to Codford Local History Society and Malmesbury Children's Centre.
