Lorry driver dies in M4 ditch crash in Wiltshire

A man has died after the lorry he was driving left the M4 in Wiltshire and crashed into a ditch.

The 62-year-old, from St Breward in Cornwall, died at the scene after the lorry, carrying hay, left the motorway near Leigh Delamere services.

It happened on the westbound carriageway between Chippenham and Bath around 07:00 GMT.

Part of the motorway was closed for investigations and the recovery of the articulated lorry.

Wiltshire Police said no other vehicles were involved.
