Wiltshire fatal crash: Three people killed after collision with lorry

Three men have died after a crash between a car and a lorry.

An 18-year-old man from Devizes and two men, both aged 20 from Trowbridge, were in the car when the collision happened on the Quartermaster Road at West Wiltshire Trading Estate in Westbury, Wiltshire, on Friday night.

The road was closed by police for seven hours while they dealt with the accident, which happened at 22:30 GMT.

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses to get in touch.

The men, who were in a Citroen Saxo, were pronounced dead at the scene. The Scania LGV driver was uninjured.

Supt Gavin Williams said: "This is a tragic incident where three people have lost their lives and my thoughts are with their family and friends during this extremely difficult time."
