Police have been granted more time to question three women arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing in Swindon.

Alison Connolly, 49, from Penhill, died from a single stab wound after she was attacked at Evelyn House, Park South, on Tuesday.

Wiltshire Police have arrested two 19-year-old women and a 23-year-old in connection with the death.

Officers have been granted a 36-hour custody extension, a spokesman said.
