Firefighters are tackling a blaze at a plastics factory in Chippenham.

Fire crews were called to Wavin Plastics at Parsonage Way at about 14:35 BST.

A spokeswoman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service said about 10 tonnes of "packaged and palleted PVC product" were "well alight" in an open storage yard.

She added electricity engineers were also on site as live power cables were involved.

She said the fire was contained by about 16:30 BST, but added: "Efforts are still under way by engineers to isolate the electricity supply and make the fallen cables safe."

Wavin Plastics said nobody was injured but there was "small amount" of damage to stock.
