Stokesley fatal attack suspect accused of manslaughter

A youth has been accused of the manslaughter of a teenager who died after an attack in North Yorkshire.

Daniel Crowther, 17, died from head injuries after the attack outside College Pizzas in Stokesley High Street, Stokesley, on Saturday.

The charged 17-year-old, from Guisborough, was due at Northallerton Magistrates' Court on Monday.

A male and female, both 17, and a 25-year-old man, have been released on bail in connection with the inquiry.

The victim's family said Daniel's death had left a "huge hole" in their lives.
