National Railway Museum worker honoured by Queen
A volunteer museum worker and an engineering manager at a radar station in North Yorkshire are appointed MBEs in the Queen's Birthday Honours list.
Michael Wallace, of Northallerton, has been honoured for his work at the National Railway Museum in York.
While Leo Westhead, of Scarborough, has been recognised for work at RAF Fylingdales near Whitby.
Richard Gleadhill, of York, becomes an MBE for work with the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Mrs Christine Hamilton Stewart is appointed MBE for her voluntary work with the Marie Curie Cancer Care in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
York-born author Kate Atkinson also becomes an MBE.
Ms Atkinson's work features in the television drama series, Case Histories, a six-part series adapted from her mysteries.
