Woman killed in A19 crash named

A 21-year-old driver who died in a crash on the A19 in North Yorkshire has been named.

Debbie Elizabeth Tennant, from Linthorpe, Middlesbrough, died at the scene of the crash which happened on Monday evening.

North Yorkshire Police said a Kia Sorrento 4x4 and her Ford Ka collided near Over Silton.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 50-year-old man from West Yorkshire, suffered minor injuries.

The road was closed for six hours while investigations were carried out.

A date has yet to be set for the inquest.
