Woman charged over death of baby in Selby crash

A woman has been charged with causing the death of a baby in a head-on crash in North Yorkshire.

Aiden Boyeldieu was a passenger in a Honda Jazz car which was involved in a collision with a van on the A63 Selby bypass in April.

The 17-month-old boy was flown to Leeds General Infirmary, where he later died.

The 21-year-old driver of the Honda has been charged with causing death by careless driving. She will appear before Selby magistrates on 27 October.
