Man, 36, dies in A59 goods vehicle collision
A 36-year-old man has died after his car was involved in a collision with a goods vehicle in North Yorkshire.
Police said the accident, on the A59 near Fewston reservoir, happened at about 14:40 GMT on Friday.
The man's vehicle, a grey Vauxhall Zafira, was in collision with a white articulated goods vehicle which was travelling in the opposite direction.
The 36-year-old driver died later in hospital. Two passengers travelling in the same car received minor injuries.
The driver of the lorry was not injured in the collision, police said.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the accident to contact them.
