Burst water main disrupts supply in North Yorkshire

A number of homes have been left without water in North Yorkshire after a water main burst, Yorkshire Water has said.

The company said homes in the Thirsk, South Kilvington and Sowerby areas may experience low pressure, a reduced supply or no water at all.

Louise King from the company said engineers were on site to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Yorkshire Water said customers could keep up to date via its website.
