Two more held over Harrogate jewellery raid

Two more arrests have been made after a robbery at a jewellery store in Harrogate.

North Yorkshire Police held a 27-year-old man from Harrogate and a 17-year-old boy from Leeds. They both remain in police custody.

A 26-year-old man, who was arrested on Thursday, has been released on bail.

Two masked men used a sledgehammer to smash their way through a door at Fattorini's on Parliament Street on Tuesday morning.

They stole several items of high-value jewellery, including Rolex watches.

The two suspects were driven away by a third man inside a silver Vauxhall Astra that has since been recovered by police.

No-one was harmed during the incident.
