Arrests over teenager death crash on A19 near Selby
Two people have been arrested in connection with a crash on the A19 in North Yorkshire which killed a teenage girl and injured seven other people.
Carly Smith died and seven others, including three children and a baby, were hurt in the crash at Chapel Haddlesey, near Selby, on 13 August.
The road was closed for several hours after two cars collided at 20:15 BST.
A 27-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, both from Burn, were arrested and released on bail earlier.
An inquest into the teenager's death has been opened and adjourned.
