North Yorkshire woman arrested after fatal car crash

A 41-year-old woman has been arrested after the car she was driving left the road killing a passenger.

The Range Rover was found in a field after it left the A65 in Carseylands Hill, near Skipton, North Yorkshire, on Saturday.

A 48-year-old local man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the arrested woman, who is from North Yorkshire, suffered minor injuries and was being held in custody for questioning.
