Daniel Jarvis from York returns 'safe and well'

A missing man has returned "safe and well" after his family urged him to come home as police searched alongside two nearby rivers.

Daniel Jarvis, 30, from York, had not been seen since he left work at a Royal Mail sorting office on Friday morning.

Police thanked people who had helped the investigation and said Mr Jarvis' returned home at about 15:30 GMT.

North Yorkshire Police and a fire and rescue boat had been searching around the rivers Ouse and Foss.
