Costumes worn by actresses Abi Titmuss and Janie Dee are being auctioned off by a North Yorkshire theatre as part of its 60th anniversary celebrations.

Memorabilia from the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough, formerly run by playwright Alan Ayckbourn, is being sold to fund its new programme of work.

Props, furniture and behind-the-scenes experience days at the theatre are also up for grabs.

Artistic director Chris Monks said the auction will help raise valuable funds.

The auction is underway and open to the public.

It includes outfits worn by Ms Dee in Mr Ayckbourn's production of Woman In Mind in 2008 and dresses worn by Ms Titmuss in John Godber's Muddy Cows in 2013.

Experience days include access to rehearsals of Mr Ayckbourn's latest play.
