Woman released over Richmond man's death

A woman arrested in connection with the death of a man who died after being attacked in a North Yorkshire town has been released without charge.

Andrew Jackson 43, died in hospital after he was attacked in Victoria Road, Richmond, on 25 April.

A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said the woman, 38, had been "released without further police action".

Cohnor Coleman, 24, of Brough with St Giles, near Catterick, has been charged with Mr Jackson's murder.

Mr Coleman has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Teesside Crown Court on 23 July.
