Woman's body found at Brayton house after fire

The body of a woman has been found after a fire at a house in North Yorkshire.

Police said the body was discovered after officers and firefighters went to the property in Moat Way, Brayton, at about 01.00 BST.

The woman, believed to be in her 40s, has not been formally identified.

A force spokesman said it was treating her death as unexplained. No-one else is believed to have been in the house at the time of the fire.
