Drugs seized in property searches in County Tyrone

Drugs with an estimated street value of £11,000 have been seized by police after searches at six properties in the Cookstown and Moneymore areas.

Two men were arrested following the searches on Friday night.

They have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Police said another two men and two women are to be reported to the Public Prosecution Service for various offences including the alleged supply of illegal drugs.

The drugs, including a number of cannabis plants, were seized along with other items. All items will be submitted for forensic testing.
