Ten people arrested after man shot dead in Dublin

Ten people have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in Dublin.

It happened close to the Dart station on Station Road in Portmarnock just before 2230 BST on Sunday.

At least one of the shots fired, hit the man, believed to be in his 40s, in the head.

Seven men and three women, aged from 24 to 56 years, were arrested in north Dublin on Sunday night.

The area around the train station and nearby apartment blocks has been sealed-off ahead of the arrival of a forensic team from Garda Headquarters.

A post-mortem examination is expected to be carried out later on Monday.
