'Substantial' amount of cash taken in east Belfast raid

A substantial amount of money has been stolen in a robbery at a petrol station in east Belfast.

Two men entered the business on Grand Parade at about 0830 BST and demanded that a shop assistant hand over any money that was on the premises.

The robbers then made off in a white transit van.

A number of men had been seen acting suspiciously in the area a short time before the robbery.
