A healthcare worker in Craigavon Area Hospital's Accident and Emergency Department is suspected of having tuberculosis (TB).

The Public Health Agency said the worker ceased clinical duties as soon as the suspected case was identified.

It said while the risk of transmission was low, the Southern Health Trust was contacting patients who may have been in contact with the person.

Tuberculosis usually attacks the lungs but can affect other parts of the body.
