New BBC NI series, In your Corner, which aims to tackle issues affecting communities across Northern Ireland.

Host Wendy Austin will tackle the topics important to you in the new series which starts on Monday night.

Together with Claire McCollum and the In Your Corner team, Wendy will visit each county in Northern Ireland over the next six weeks, giving people in each area the chance to air the issues that are important to them.

"We want to get to the heart of communities in each county and listen to their concerns, give a voice to people, and hopefully resolve their problems," Wendy Austin said.

"Not only will we be in people's towns and counties, we really do aim to be "in their corner", whether it's for someone with a personal plight, or a group hoping to find a solution to a wider problem," the Talkback host added.

The first programme comes from the Ardhowen Theatre in Enniskillen, where Wendy and the team will be looking at issues such as the high petrol prices in Fermanagh, the aftermath of last year's flooding and the challenges facing the Irvinestown community breast milk facility.

The following week In Your Corner and the travelling studio will move on to the Strule Arts Centre in Omagh, the Marketplace Theatre in Armagh, the St Patrick Centre in Downpatrick, the Millennium Forum in Londonderry and finally the Braid Arts Centre in Ballymena.

From big, hard-hitting issues to minor frustrations, no subject is too big or small, too serious or humorous for the In Your Corner team to take on.
