Londonderry home attacked with petrol bomb

A petrol bomb has been thrown into the garden of a house in Londonderry.

It happened at about 0100 BST at the property in the Moss Park area of the city.

Patio furniture was damaged in the attack.

Condemning the attack, Sinn Fein councillor and member of the local District Policing Partnership Elisha McLaughlin, said there had been a number of such incidents in the area in the last few months.

She called on the PSNI to "play a role in getting to grips with the ongoing problems facing residents there".
