Family Focus: Funding for carers

There are 185,000 carers in Northern Ireland according to official figures, although it is thought the real figure is much higher.

It is often forgotten just how much money carers save the economy.

One study valued the unpaid work put in by carers here every year in Northern Ireland at an incredible £3.12 billion.

But what affect will future cuts have?
