Family targeted in west Belfast petrol bombing

A man, woman and a young child have escaped injury in a petrol bomb attack in west Belfast.

A bottle filled with flammable liquid was thrown through an upstairs window of a house at Teeling View, Lagmore, at about 0500 BST on Monday.

Police said there were no reports of injuries.

Some scorch damage was caused to the house. Police are investigating a motive for the attack.
