Armed robbers tie up a mother and son in County Tyrone

A mother and her teenage son have been tied up during an armed robbery in County Tyrone.

Five masked men armed with a rifle and a handgun entered a house at Plumbridge at around 2100 BST on Monday.

They tied up the woman and her 17-year-old son at their home on the Glenelly Road before escaping with cash.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them. The masked men are believed to be in their 20s.
