Police hunt serial traffic offender

The police are hunting a Londonderry man who has almost 300 road traffic convictions.

37-year-old Eamon Lynch from Wesley Street failed to appear at Londonderry Crown court on Thursday.

He faces charges of driving whilst disqualified and obstructing and resisting in the Bishop Street area in May.

Judge Piers Grant was told the defendant had broken his electronic tagging device, and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.
