Four arrested in Europe-wide £1.5m gold theft

Four men have been arrested in north Belfast as part of a Europe-wide investigation into the theft of computers and gold worth £1.5m.

The investigation began in 2009 after two shipments were stolen.

Four men arrested in June in relation to the missing shipment of gold and computers were charged with fraud, deception and handling stolen goods.

The latest suspects were arrested by detectives from the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch.
