Three people are due to be charged in connection with the murder of a Northern Ireland woman on her honeymoon in Mauritius, police on the island say.

Michaela McAreavey, 27, was found dead in her bathtub at the four-star Legends Hotel. She had been strangled.

Mrs McAreavey, the daughter of Tyrone GAA manager Mickey Harte, had married John McAreavey, a member of Down's Gaelic football team, on 30 December.

She taught Irish at St Patrick's Academy in Dungannon, County Tyrone.
