PSNI appeal over reports of male sex assault

Police are investigating reports that a man has been sexually assaulted in south Belfast.

They have appealed for information in connection with the attack which is reported to have happened between 0200 and 0300 GMT on Friday at the Great Victoria Street end of Stroud Street.

A PSNI spokesman said they were working to establish the circumstances.

"Due to the nature of the incident no further details are available at this stage," he added.
