Woman charged after £45,000 of heroin seized in Belfast

A 28-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the seizure of heroin in north Belfast.

The drugs, with an estimated street value of £45,000, were recovered following the search of a house in Windermere Gardens on Monday.

She has been charged with possession of class A drugs and possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

She is expected to appear in court in Lisburn on Tuesday.
