Man due in court on Tyrone terrorism charges

A 38-year-old man is due to appear in court in Dungannon on Wednesday charged with four firearms offences.

Among the charges are possession of explosives and guns including a machine gun and three shotguns, and possession of articles likely to be of use to terrorists.

They were found during a search in County Tyrone on Sunday.

Police said the charges are not connected to the murder of Constable Ronan Kerr on Saturday.
