Police question dissident republican suspect

A man is being questioned about dissident republican activity after being arrested by police on Monday.

He was arrested by officers from the PSNI serious crime branch who carried out a series of searches in west Belfast.

The 34-year-old is being questioned at Antrim PSNI station.

It is understood that the arrest is not linked to the investigation into the murder of Constable Ronan Kerr.
