RNLI rescues two divers off Cushendall on north coast

Two divers who became separated from their dive boat off the north Antrim coast have been brought to safety by the RNLI.

The alarm was raised after 1300 BST on Saturday after the boat which had lost power, was drifting further out to sea.

The divers were unable to reach the vessel and swam to nearby rocks to seek assistance.

Red Bay lifeboat crew brought them ashore at Cushendall.

The lifeboat volunteers then returned and recovered the dive vessel.
