Woman in court in connection with Kilkeel murder
A 32-year-old woman has appeared in court in Newry charged in connection with the murder of a man in Kilkeel, County Down.
Dmytro Grysunov, 29, was shot dead at Rooney Park during a clash between two groups of foreign nationals.
Lineta Kundrotiene of Ronney Park, Kilkeel appeared in the dock beside a translator.
She is charged with assisting an offender, perverting the course of justice and withholding information.
District judge Eamonn King released the accused on bail on several conditions.
He set bail at £500 with an added surety of £500.
She was told she must reside at an address approved by police, observe a curfew from 2200 BST - 0600 BST, report three times a week to a PSNI station & surrender her ID and passport to police for the duration of the investigation and prosecution.
Police have been given a further 36 hours to question a 28-year-old man arrested over the murder. He was arrested on Tuesday evening.
Three men aged 31, 36 and 26 have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
It is believed a dispute between the two groups started when a house was attacked at Haywood Way at 2100 BST on Saturday.
The trouble then moved to Rooney Park, where at least two shots were fired in the street.
The attackers then fled the scene on foot.
