Strabane gorse fire 'brought under control' by NIFRS

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service said it has brought a large gorse fire in Strabane, County Tyrone under control.

The fire was contained on Friday evening.

The service said it attended more than 100 gorse fires on Tuesday.

It said the worst blaze was in Glenshane Forest in County Londonderry where approximately four sq km of gorse was alight.
