A man wanted in connection with a murder in Kilkeel last week, who was mistakenly released from prison last year, has been arrested in Dublin.

Ukrainian born Dmytro Grysunov was shot and fatally injured in Kilkeel on 23 April.

Devidas Paliutus was detained by Gardai in the north of the city on Friday.

He was being held in Maghaberry prison on a rape charge last September when the prison service let him out by mistake.

Earlier in the week another man was arrested in connection with the murder after he made enquiries about applying for a passport.

On Friday, a woman appeared in court charged with perverting the course of justice and helping an offender.
