Boy, 16, beaten and stabbed on Belfast's Suffolk Road

A 16-year-old boy has been treated in hospital after being beaten and stabbed in west Belfast at the weekend.

The teenager was attacked on the Suffolk Road at about 2330 BST on Saturday by three men in their late teens.

He was punched from behind and knocked to the ground, then kicked several times on the legs and arms.

When he got to his feet, one of the men stabbed him in the arm. All three attackers were said to be drunk.

The first attacker was described as being about 5ft 9ins tall, stocky with short dirty fair hair. He was wearing a black Liverpool FC tracksuit with yellow flashes.

The second man was described as 6ft 2ins in height, of slim build. He was wearing a dark hooded top with the hood up.

The third attacker was about 5ft 7ins in height, of stocky build with short dark hair. He was wearing white rimmed sunglasses.
