Orange hall in Dunloy is targeted in graffiti attack

An Orange hall at Dunloy, County Antrim, has been sprayed with graffiti in a vandalism attack.

Police said they were investigating an incident of criminal damage at the hall in the Station Road area.

The attack happened some time between Friday night and Saturday morning. Police said they were treating the attack as being sectarian.

The Orange Order has condemned the attack and urged its members to remain vigilant.

""This is yet another sectarian attack on Protestant and Orange culture and should be condemned by everyone in the community," the Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland said.

"It is clearly designed to create tension in the area but we would urge people not to fall into that trap."
